Al Forno Lebanese Grill - Menu Photography
Top-down menu photography for Al Forno Lebanese Grill - UTC, using controlled lighting to create a consistent set of individual dishes and full-table spreads.
Overview
I photographed a full menu selection for Al Forno Lebanese Grill - UTC in Sarasota using a consistent top-down approach. The overhead framing keeps each dish clear and recognizable while giving the restaurant a cohesive set of images for its menu presentation.
I built a controlled two-light setup with an Amaran 60x S and softbox as the key light, then used an Amaran Pano 60c as fill. This kept the wood surface warm, controlled the shadows across the plates, and preserved detail in grilled meats, salads, dips, breads, and sides throughout the shoot.
